Tarte amazonian clay airbrush foundation

Tarte amazonian clay foundation in light medium neutral

Today I am going to be reviewing the tart amazonian clay airbrush foundation. Now, I have never used a mineral foundation before and I was desperate to try one out. I have been debating whether to spend my money on the bare minerals foundation for nearly 1 year now, but I have never convinced myself it would be a worthwhile purchase. Unfortunately I am still only a student and cannot afford a lot of expensive make up.

However, after I saw essiebuttons video about this foundation, I had to buy it. I purchased this on sephora.com and I have to admit this was a huge risk - I have never purchased foundation without getting matched, and if this colour was wrong, I would be £30 short. Luckily, I ordered the right colour by not only looking at the colour descriptions, but (I admit very sad) looked all over youtube until I found somebody with my skin tone, using the foundation.

To me, this foundation looks like skin when it is applied. Honestly, after I put it on I couldn't tell I was wearing any foundation, yet my skin still managed to look flawless. Either my eyesight is getting worse, or this foundation is a miricle!

The airbuki brush

Sephora suggests that you should use the brush with the foundation, so I bought the brush as well.
Although I find the bush soft, steady and cute, I can not help but feel that my real techniques buffing brush would have done the same job for a fraction of the price. The airbuki brush really isn't necessary, but I will admit that it makes application so much easier!

I am super happy with this foundation and I would thoroughly recommend buying it. If you are based in the UK, you can buy this on QVC and Sephora.com

Have you tried this product?

The Start of my Bite addiction...

Hi guys

I'm so sorry I haven't posted in over 6 months, but I have been revising non stop for my AS Levels (it sucks being a teenager :P). However, my last exam finished yesterday and I am currently experiencing freedom, its good!

Also, Expect more posts from me in the upcoming weeks, now that exams are over I will have more time to update my blog!

Today I am going to review my new addiction, the bite deconstructed rose lipgloss. I've had this for a couple of weeks and been using it nearly everyday. The colours are all extremely pigmented and I do not think there is a bad shade in the lot! I originally got fairly frightened by number 12, but I must say it looks amazing when on my lips.  My favourite colours in the range is 4,5,8

The formula is a lot thicker than most lip glosses I own, but I don't necessarily find this a bad thing. I find this makes them more pigmented in a strange way. They aren't hard to work with either which I find really refreshing, seeing as most thick lip glosses tend to be difficult.

One thing I do find annoying about these lip glosses is the scent. I am not a massive rose fan so the smell can be a tad overpowering at times, however I do find that the scent wears off very quickly so it isn't as bad as I thought it would have been.

L-R shade 1 to shade 6

L-R shade 8-12

In short, I would recommend these lip glosses highly due to the immense pigment and wearable shades. It cost around £30 which some people may think is expensive, but seeing as you get 12 shades, it works out just over £2.00 a lipgloss.

I can't wait for bite to come into the United Kingdom!

Have you tried anything from Bite cosmetics?
